PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
For the treatment and control of intestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms, bots, and skin lesions caused by Habronema (Not in New Zealand) and Draschia spp (summer sores - not significant in New Zealand) and Onchocerca spp microfilaria (cutaneous onchocerciasis - not significant in New Zealand) in horses.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
1. Provides unsurpassed broad spectrum efficacy, being registered to control 76 species and stages of equine parasites, which is almost twice as many worm species and stages as other equine parasite control products.

Treats and controls tapeworm, large strongyles, small strongyles (including strains that have become resistant to benzimidazole), pinworms, ascarids (roundworms), hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, neck threadworms, bots, lungworms, intestinal threadworms, Habronema (Not in New Zealand) and Draschia spp. (not significant in New Zealand) cutaneous larvae (summer sores) and Onchocerca spp microfilaria (Cutaneous onchocerciasis - not significant in New Zealand ).
3. EQVALAN GOLD has a wide margin of safety at the recommended dose level. It may be used in horses of all ages and mares can be treated at any stage of pregnancy. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
4. Low dose volume - easy to administer as the tube has a wide opening for quick administration, fits even small hands.
DOSE RATE
EQVALAN GOLD is given orally and the contents of the syringe will treat one horse weighing 600kg or two 300kg ponies.
